What exactly can you do to a character and still keep them sane? Apparently quite a bit (alright, we are talking relative sanity here). Aodien joined the Smith CraftHall at Ista Island when he was just under 13. A few days after his 13th turnday he went back in time 50 turns to live rough and have an adventure. Barely two days after returning from that little adventure he decides to pursue his Journeywoman (he always had a crush) and falls deeper in love with her. But she loves someone else. Then they get kidnapped by pirates. It's not so much what the pirates did (nasty) but what Jerran (Head Pirate) said that screwed him up. Now he has lots of bad decisions to overcome. Can he do it without becoming a pirate himself? He still survives and is still sane (relatively). How's he dealing with it all? Women! And a few of them are going to try and drive him insane. He loves all of them, and some are starting to stick bad in his heart. Stay tuned to the adventures and watch Pern's Casanova go down in flames!
